ABOUT BRAND AND DESIGNERS

The jewelry brand "KOMI" was launched in 2014 in Tokyo by two designers; Hwayoung Koizumi and Atsushi Koizumi.
Hwayoung graduated from The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and designed jewelry for some of the premier jewelry brands in New York City. Atsushi majored in Architecture at Musashino Art University in Japan and worked at architectural firms in New York & Tokyo. Our different perspectives from different backgrounds give a harmonious collaboration in the design process and finished pieces.
